Dr. Aksya Kumar Sarkar
– Founder Managing Director & CEO of Biotech Agro Care.

He is a highly experienced fisheries and aquaculture professional with 28 years of national and international experience in shrimp aquaculture, organic shrimp production, seafood safety, certification systems, and farmer capacity development. He earned his PhD in Shrimp Aquaculture, with research focused on the effects of harmful agents on shrimp production, farm income, and biodiversity in Bangladesh.

Dr. Sarkar has worked with UK- and US-funded development projects, international research organizations, certification bodies, and private-sector seafood and agribusiness companies in Bangladesh, Germany, Thailand, and India. He is widely recognized for promoting organic, sustainable, and safe fish and shrimp production through science-based practices and value-chain support.
